We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to take ownership of testing activities on software development projects. The work is carried out in a team-work environment that encourages proactivity and empowerment.

The QA Specialist works with development teams that typically comprise of technically skilled people and resources with project management expertise.

Main responsibilities are:

  • Planning and control
  • Analysis and design
  • Implementation and execution
  • Reporting

The QA Specialist is responsible for the test process on projects. From developing test strategies and test plans to reviewing and assessing technical and non-technical requirements. From analyzing test bases to designing tests. And from implementing and executing tests on multiple levels to monitoring and reporting on them, which includes bug management.

Skill areas and traits that we expect of the QA Specialist:

  • Experienced in software testing and ISTQB-certified
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Adept at communication on multiple levels, primarily with internal stakeholders but customer-side as well
  • Savvy and curious in terms of technology
  • Proactive and with an analytical mindset
  • Experienced in automated testing tools and performance testing is a plus
  • Ready and able to influence the way we work with QA at Solteq
  • Fluent in Danish and professionally proficient in English
